Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Mrs. Goodale’s Living Lockets (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit mrsgoodaleslivinglockets.com, browse the preview collection, or use Locket Guide (together, the “Services”).
The Site is presently a store preview. It does not accept orders or payment details, and the email-updates feature is not active. This policy will be updated before checkout, customer communications, or additional data-collection features are enabled.

Information we handle
Basic website and security data
When a browser connects to the Site, our hosting provider may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, date and time, network or diagnostic data, and security events. We use this information to deliver the Site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain security.
Shopping-bag and email-preview features
The shopping bag is a preview-status panel. Products cannot be added, and no shopping-bag selection is saved or sent to checkout. The Site does not currently collect or save newsletter email addresses.
Browser storage
After you acknowledge the Locket Guide privacy notice, the Site stores a small preference in your browser so the same notice does not need to appear every time. This preference does not contain your chat messages or identity. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data or local-storage controls.
Anonymous analytics and performance
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregated page visits, referral sources, device and browser categories, approximate region, and real-world performance measurements such as page-loading and interaction speed. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and is designed so its standard page-view data is not associated with an individual or IP address. We do not send names, email addresses, chat messages, or payment information as analytics events.
Information we ask you not to provide
Do not enter a name, email address, phone number, street address, password, payment information, government identifier, order number, or other private information into Locket Guide. The Site uses automated filters intended to reject common forms of sensitive content, but no filter is perfect.

Locket Guide and artificial intelligence
When you send a message to Locket Guide, the message and recent conversation context are transmitted to OpenAI through its API so a response can be generated. We configure these requests not to create stored response objects, and this Site does not maintain a customer chat-history database.
OpenAI states that API data is not used to train or improve its models unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs, which can include prompts, responses, and related metadata, for up to 30 days by default unless a different approved control applies or longer retention is required for legal or safety reasons. Review OpenAI’s current API data controls.
To discourage misuse, the Site derives a short, one-way safety identifier from connection information and temporarily counts requests for rate limiting. We do not use that identifier to create a consumer profile.

Your choices and privacy rights
- Do not use chat: Locket Guide is optional; the collection can be browsed without it.
- Clear the conversation: use the “Clear” control inside Locket Guide or reload the page.
- Clear the preference: remove this Site’s local storage through your browser settings.
- Limit information: keep chat questions general and do not submit private data.
Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers our activities, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, and to appeal or object to some uses. We will not discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable privacy right.
A verified privacy-request email address and business mailing address will be published before customer accounts, direct customer communications, or checkout open. Current service and contact status is available in the Support Center. Please do not submit a privacy request or identifying details through Locket Guide.

Other privacy details
Retention
The current Site does not keep a database of shopping-bag selections, newsletter addresses, customer accounts, or chat histories. Hosting, analytics, performance, and AI providers may retain limited technical, security, and processing data under their policies and legal obligations. The browser preference remains until you clear it.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed for the limited data handled by the preview Site, including encrypted connections, server-side secrets, input limits, rate limits, and filters for common sensitive data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current Site. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should review the contact status in the Support Center.
International use
The Site and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where service providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the store opens, providers change, or legal and operational requirements develop. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be presented as required by law.
